Job summary

Proud Moments ABA is seeking Behavior Technicians to provide 1-1 in-home ABA services to children on the autism spectrum in New Jersey. BTs work under BCBA supervision, delivering treatment plans in a home setting with flexible after-school hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience working with children preferred.
• Prior experience providing support to children with behavioral challenges, developmental delays, or special needs preferred.
• Exposure to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities is preferred, though comprehensive training will be provided.
• Reliable personal transportation with the ability to commute to assigned work locations.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of client and family information per HIPAA and company policies.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Part-time after-school schedule.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with a client in their home to implement behavioral plans designed by BCBA.
• Collect data to monitor progress of the treatment plan and report progress.
• Support BCBA with training families on implementing treatment plans.
• Be responsive to the needs of clients, families, and supervisors.
• Maintain clear communication with families, supervisors, and others involved.
• Assist with activities requiring physical movement to keep pace with children.
