Job summary

Ad Astra Behavior Analytic Services is seeking motivated Behavior Technicians to provide one‑on‑one ABA services to children in clients’ homes and community settings. You will implement skill acquisition and behavior intervention programs under clinical supervision, teaching communication, social, self‑help, adaptive, and daily living skills to promote independence.

Responsibilities include data collection, documentation, and regular communication with the clinical team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Complete the required 40‑hour online training provided by Ad Astra.
• Have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Maintain active automobile insurance listing the applicant as a covered driver.
• Have a current negative TB test.
• Experience in psychology, education, human services, child development, social services, or related fields encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, one–on–one ABA services to children.
• Implement skill acquisition and behavior intervention programs under clinical supervision.
• Teach communication, social, self‑help, adaptive, and daily living skills.
• Use evidence‑based ABA strategies to promote learning and independence.
• Support interventions designed to decrease behaviors that may interfere with safety, learning, or daily functioning.
• Collect accurate client data during treatment sessions and complete session documentation.
• Communicate observations, progress, and concerns with supervising BCBAs and the clinical team.
• Maintain positive, professional relationships with clients and their families.
• Follow established clinical, ethical, safety, and confidentiality standards.
• Adjust to individual client needs while maintaining consistency with treatment plans.
