Job summary

Kids Club ABA - VA seeks a motivated Behavior Technician (BT) to work with children in Great Falls, VA. You will implement ABA-based behavior plans under BCBA supervision, helping clients improve social, communication, and daily living skills in an in-person setting.

The role emphasizes collaboration with families, data collection, and delivering structured ABA sessions across after-school and day/evening shifts.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with individuals with autism or related developmental disabilities.
• Familiarity with applied behavior analysis principles and techniques.
• Ability to work effectively with children and adolescents.
• Experience in special education or behavioral health settings is a plus.
• Knowledge of medical documentation, care plans, and patient care practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to clients under the supervision of a BCBA.
• Implement behavior intervention plans and collect data on client progress.
• Assist in developing and maintaining individualized treatment and behavior plans.
• Collaborate with families and caregivers to ensure consistency in implementing behavior strategies.
• Document client progress and maintain accurate medical records.
• Support clients in activities of daily living (ADLs) and social interactions.
• Conduct structured teaching sessions based on the principles of ABA.
