Job summary

BY YOUR SIDE-Autism Therapy Services is seeking a Behavior Technician to deliver ABA therapy to children and young adults with autism. The role includes 1:1 or small group sessions under supervision, data collection, and travel to centers, homes, and communities. Evening or weekend hours may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree or enrollment in psychology/education/related field preferred.
• Strong interest in autism therapy and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
• Ability to follow supervision and treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct 1:1 or small group therapy to children and young adults with autism under supervision.
• Maintain targeted caseload hours of therapy per week.
• Maintain confidentiality according to HIPAA guidelines.
• Implement treatment plans across multiple domains (communication, social behavior, self-care, etc.).
• Collect data and maintain records on an online data platform; assist with billing for sessions.
• Travel to home and community sites as required.
• Assist with assessments under supervisor training (e.g., VBMAPP, ABLLS).
• Ensure safety and order in the therapy environment and collaborate with multidisciplinary team.
