Job summary

Blue Lakes Behavioral Health in Mentor, OH is seeking Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children on the autism spectrum. Join our outstanding team of individuals dedicated to helping children learn & grow in home, community and facility settings.

Responsibilities include implementing ABA-based skill acquisition programs, collecting data, communicating with families, and maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience working with children with autism preferred.
• Effective time management and ability to multitask.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain professional relationships and confidentiality.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing trainings and development.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA teaching to children based on the plan from the BCBA.
• Implement clinical skills instruction and behavior reduction protocols.
• Collect program data and summarize client performance.
• Communicate progress to parents/guardians as instructed by the BCBA.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA laws.
• Collaborate with treatment team and maintain a safe, organized environment.
