Job summary

Glendale Unified School District seeks part-time Education Assistant/Paraprofessional to support students with disabilities in Special Education programs. Responsibilities include assisting instruction, monitoring behavior, and delivering ABA-based interventions such as DTT under supervision.

Position is 9.25 months per year, 6 hours daily, Monday–Friday, with full employee benefits. Certification requires TB clearance and pre-employment checks; salary starts at $31.48/hr, up to $39.50/hr with

Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent; College credits or an associate degree desirable.
• Completion of coursework in child development, education, or psychology is desirable.
• Experience with ABA-based behavior interventions (e.g., DTT) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in instruction for individuals or small groups of students with disabilities.
• Monitor and redirect inappropriate behaviors using approved techniques.
• Administer ABA-based interventions including DTT under supervision.
• Assist with student arrival/departure and daily care activities.
• Participate in staff development and implement documented therapy plans.
