Job summary

Intermountain Centers seeks a Behavior Analysis Trainee to provide ABA services and participate in its residency program toward BCBA certification. The role includes direct client work, family training, and collaboration with a supervising BCBA in a comprehensive behavioral health setting in Tucson, AZ.

Ideal candidates are pursuing or have completed a Master’s in ABA, with BACB trainee status and a preference for at least one year of direct ABA experience.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled or have completed Master’s degree in ABA.
• Must meet BACB trainee definition.
• One year full-time ABA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct ABA services to children, youth, and adults, and train families/caregivers.
• Develop ABA Treatment Plans and Functional Behavior Assessments to secure service authorizations.
• Complete Functional Behavior Assessments and analyze data to inform Behavior Intervention Plans.
• Train families and school teams on implementing teaching strategies from treatment plans.
• Support parents and school staff in achieving positive behavior change.
• Oversee ABA programming and progress using data collection systems; maintain BACB supervision hours.
• Attend supervision meetings with a BCBA to satisfy BACB supervision requirements.
• Maintain client files and required documentation per BACB/state licensure.
• Complete progress notes within 24 hours of service; maintain logs as needed.
• Maintain approved schedule and attendance; perform other duties as assigned.
