Job summary

Desert Sands Unified School District seeks an individual to support students with behavioral challenges, applying ABA-based intervention techniques. One year of related experience is required or preferred, with CPI/ Safety training to be provided by the district.

Applicants must have at least two years of college (48 semester units) or an Associate’s degree, or an NCLB-compliant certificate; a California driver’s license, and First Aid/CPR certification within six months.

Qualifications

• One year experience working with persons with behavioral challenges.
• Experience implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)–based behavior intervention techniques.
• Two years of college (48 units) or an Associate’s degree or related certification per NCLB requirements.
• CA driver’s license and First Aid/CPR to be obtained within six months.
