Job summary

First Soft Solutions in Maryland (Woodlawn) seeks an onsite ETL engineer to design, develop, test, and support Ab Initio ETL solutions. You will work on batch and real-time data pipelines handling high-volume data.

The role requires strong Unix/Linux, SQL, and data mapping skills with DB2, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Greenplum, plus experience in ETL lifecycle management and production support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
• Strong experience designing, developing, testing, and supporting ETL solutions using Ab Initio.
• Hands-on expertise with GDE, Co>Operating System, Express>IT, DQE, Continuous Flows, and S3 utilities.
• Strong Unix/Linux, SQL, data mapping, and relational database integration experience.
• Experience with DB2, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Greenplum.
• Experience building batch and real-time ETL interfaces, audit/reconciliation frameworks, and automated data-loading workflows.
• Strong experience processing high-volume data and optimizing ETL performance.
• Experience with ETL lifecycle management, code migration, automation, monitoring, and production support.
• Strong technical documentation, stakeholder communication, troubleshooting, and knowledge-transfer skills.
