Job summary

RTX, a leader in aerospace and defense, seeks a Deputy Program Manager to lead the Integration and Test Team (ITT) within the ITT IPT, reporting to the ITT PM. You will oversee cost, schedule and customer satisfaction, guiding cross-functional teams across Plano, TX and Forest, MS with roughly 25% domestic travel.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in program management, DoD program experience, and an active Top Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience with 10+ years in program management.
• Advanced degree preferred with 12+ years in related field.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams across Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, Contracts and Engineering.

The Advanced Airborne Sensor (AAS) Production organization is seeking a Deputy Program Manager to support the Integration and Test Team (ITT) IPT. The ITT Deputy PM is responsible for providing leadership and day to day oversight of the ITT IPT. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to, managing technical performance, cost, schedule, and customer (internal and external) satisfaction. The Deputy PM will report directly to and work closely with the ITT PM to ensure flawless program execution. The Deputy PM will use program management best practices to identify potential problems in sufficient time for corrective action to be taken and ensures the meeting of program and company commitments. The Deputy PM is a critical customer point of contact and will be responsible for fostering and maintaining relations with a dynamic and demanding customer community. The Deputy PM will provide leadership to a group of cross-functional team members located in both Dallas, TX and primarily in Forest, MS. There will be a domestic travel expectation of roughly 25%. Qualifications You Must Have:

• Program Management Certification (at least level 5) or ability to obtain within 12 months of assignment, in accordance with RP-248 Active and transferrable final U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain program access after start.
• US citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
