Job description

As a Retail Supervisor, you will be an essential part of the store’s leadership team, ensuring smooth daily operations, delivering outstanding customer service, and overseeing team performance. Your role will involve driving sales, maintaining optimal inventory levels, and ensuring that the store complies with company policies and procedures. You will serve as the primary point of contact for both staff and customers, providing guidance and support to maintain an efficient and positive retail environment.

What you’ll do:

  • As a key member of the leadership team, you will inspire, mentor, and lead by example, fostering a culture of teamwork, patience, respect, humility, and commitment among staff and guests.
  • Oversee day-to-day store operations, including opening and closing procedures, maintaining cleanliness, and organizing product displays.
  • Ensure the store consistently meets or surpasses sales targets through effective team motivation and customer engagement.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries and online merchandise requests.
  • Maintain visual merchandising standards according to brand guidelines, ensuring an attractive shopping experience.
  • Support the Revenue Assistant Manager with inventory management, stock replenishment, and ensure proper storage and handling of products.
  • Offer recommendations to the retail management team aimed at enhancing employee morale, guest satisfaction, sales culture, and operational efficiencies (both internal and external).
  • Handle cash management duties, including POS operation, cash handling, and nightly sales reporting.
  • Represent the merchandise department in safety committee meetings.
  • Collaborate with the Scheduling Manager to plan shifts, manage time-off requests, and oversee staff attendance.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail, actively pursue training and development opportunities, and continuously seek to build knowledge and skills while mentoring others.

What you’ll bring:

  • A High School diploma and at least 2 years of retail supervisory experience.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team while always maintaining professionalism.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact respectfully and courteously with both guests and coworkers in any situation.
  • Proficiency in computer applications such as Word and Excel.
  • Prior leadership experience is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage sensitive, confidential information responsibly.
  • Ability to work independently and cooperatively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
