Job Title: Sr. Maintenance Manager
The Sr. Maintenance Manager reports to the Director of Maintenance and is responsible for overseeing all Line Maintenance Activities and ATO contracts. The role involves coordinating with carriers to review training requirements, ensuring work aligns with ATO's capabilities.
- Provides an environment of trust for all employees.
- Implements and enforces policies and procedures of Aloha Air Cargo (AAC) and the Maintenance Department, reporting to the Director of Maintenance.
- Ensures proper manpower distribution for efficient work performance.
- Plans and directs daily Line Maintenance and contract maintenance operations, maximizing manpower utilization.
- Prepares long-range capital expenditure forecasts for maintenance needs related to Line maintenance and ATO contracts.
- Maintains morale and welfare of personnel, ensuring fair and equitable treatment.
- Assists in preparing budgets to sustain profitable maintenance operations.
- Determines aircraft maintenance requirements to ensure safety of flight and ground operations due to maintenance issues.
- Develops policies and procedures for contract maintenance personnel.
- Facilitates effective communication between Maintenance and other sections.
- Directs maintenance activities in accordance with company policies and Maintenance Manual.
- Holds authority to hire personnel.
- Ensures all work complies with company and FAA standards, maintaining airworthiness.
- Recommends training programs for staff.
- Performs duties and special assignments as directed by the Director of Maintenance.
Job Requirements
- Must pass pre-employment drug test.
- High school diploma or equivalent; college education and basic computer skills preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and A&P license required.
- Minimum 5 years of management experience and over 8 years of aircraft maintenance experience.
- Familiarity with FAR 145 Repair Station and FAR 121 Air Carrier Operations.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts; willingness to travel and stay overnight as needed.
- Excellent communication skills.
Compensation and Benefits
Starting salary range: $91,555.00 to $110,000.00 annually.
