Job summary

Aloha Air Cargo is seeking a dedicated Security Agent to protect employees, customers, and assets at Honolulu operations. You will patrol facility grounds, monitor access points, and coordinate with local authorities as needed.

This role requires noise tolerance, strict safety awareness, and excellent courtesy when interacting with the public. A pre-employment drug test and extensive background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Must pass pre-employment drug test, 5-year background check, 10-year criminal history check and security threat assessment.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid vehicle operator's permit to drive security vehicle.
• Ability to tolerate high noise conditions on in-facility tours and exposure to weather conditions on outside tours.
• Courteous manner in dealing with the public.

Responsibilities

• Makes scheduled tours of facility and grounds by vehicle or walking to ensure security, and watches for conditions that could result in injury or loss due to fire, water leakage, spills etc.
• Reports to supervisor or police authorities any unusual or suspicious conditions detected.
• Reports to supervisor any incidence of visitor, driver, or employee actions which could result in injury or loss to company or employees.
• Monitors parking flow for customers and directs movement as required.
• Provide security at cargo gate and ensure proper ingress/egress of authorized personnel onto the Airport Operations Area (AOA).
• Other duties as assigned.

Compensation

This position has a starting range of $18 - $24 per hour.
