Job summary

Allegion's Install Technician – Stanley Access Technologies in Middletown, CT is seeking a hands-on technician to install or service automatic doors, maintain records, and stay current with ANSI 156.10 standards. A strong safety mindset and customer-service focus are essential.

You will need a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, the ability to lift 75–100 lbs, and AAADM certification is a valuable asset; a $3,000 certification bonus is offered upon AAADM attainment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid state driver’s license without restrictions.
• Ability to lift 75-100 lbs.
• Flexible work schedule is a must with the ability to work nights and/or weekends as necessary.
• AAADM Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install or service automatic doors per plan and record time and parts.
• Perform preventive maintenance and safety checks.
• Maintain records and inventory for each job site.
• Keep up-to-date with ANSI 156.10 standards and Stanley equipment changes.
• Ensure neat appearance and professional workmanship.
• Assist and coach others on install/service methods.
