AAA is seeking full time drivers to join our Roadside Assistance team in Newington! We are looking for dependable and empathetic individuals who truly love to help others whether it's changing a flat tire, jump starting a car battery or towing a vehicle, and don't mind working outside in various weather conditions. NO CDL required, Paid Training, Hiring Immediately. Responsibilities include providing lock-out, fuel delivery, battery jump starts and tire change services; selling and installing car batteries (Mobile Battery position only); providing tow and recovery services (Tow Truck Driver position only); communicating with members effectively to keep them informed and to ensure their safety; making sound decisions regarding the safe service of vehicles and to accommodate member needs; entering call information accurately into in-truck technology, processing payments, handling cash and completing reports as required; conducting vehicle and equipment inspections to ensure safe operating condition and adequately secured at all times; supporting AAA as needed by participating in special events promoting the brand. Requirements include being at least 21 years old, completion of a high school diploma or equivalent, possessing and maintaining a valid driver's license for the state where you reside, ability to pass a physical examination, 3 years of experience in an automotive/mechanical environment or sales/customer service preferred, ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 75 pounds, satisfactory pre-and post-employment screening results, ability to operate passenger vehicles and light-medium duty trucks, effective communication skills, and successful completion of required departmental training courses within 60 days of hire.
