Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. in Mobile, AL is seeking a Systems Installation (ESI/MSI) Liaison / MRB Engineer to join our Engineering department.

The role focuses on rapid, high‑quality technical execution of ESI and MSI fixes, interfacing with Design Office, Quality Assurance, and Manufacturing to meet SLA timelines.

Travel up to 10% and US employment eligibility are required; the ideal candidate has 6+ years of airframe design engineering experience and a BS in a related field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a relevant engineering field.
• 6+ years of progressive experience in aircraft structure design engineering support.
• Strong knowledge of airframe MSI & ESI design and installation processes.
• Willing to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Resolve airframe installation non-conformities across the full airframe perimeter.
• Authorize technical solutions and justification reports for repairs or troubleshooting within ESI/MSI.
• Interface with the Global Design Office, Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance.
• Provide shop floor installation support during assembly, flight line, and delivery activities.
