Job summary

The A-320 Ground/Simulator Instructor position with Allegiant Air delivers instruction using classrooms, flight training devices, and simulators to pilots for initial, transition, upgrade and recurrent training in line with Allegiant’s approved program and FAA regulations.

Responsibilities include lesson planning, simulator setup, and maintaining training records; you will work closely with the Fleet Training Captain to resolve training issues and ensure high standards of customer service and

Qualifications

• Combination of Education and Experience will be considered.
• Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986.
• Must pass a Criminal Background Check.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate initial, transition, upgrade and recurrent training, including A-320 systems, Allegiant Air policies and procedures, applicable FAA Regulations and Emergency training.
• Prepare students for flight evaluations by providing high quality training and effective feedback.
• Conduct training tasks including lesson planning, classroom and simulator set-up, upkeep of current aviation publications and instructional training materials.
• Maintain record of all training activities, participants and results.
• Assist department managers as required for special projects.
• Assist in course design and development.
• Work closely with the A-320 Fleet Training Captain to identify and resolve issues with training.
• Model Allegiant’s customer service standards in personal actions and when providing leadership direction.
• Other duties as assigned
