Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. in Mobile, Alabama seeks an experienced A320 Family MAP Cabin & Cargo Engineering Team Manager to lead a specialized engineering group and bridge the Global Design Office with the Final Assembly Line.

The role requires coordinating with Engineering, Quality and Manufacturing to uphold safety, airworthiness, and on-time delivery within a transnational Airbus framework.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of progressive aerospace engineering experience.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering (or equivalent combination).
• Master’s degree in aerospace or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the foremost technical authority for Cabin & Cargo engineering domains.
• Ensure MAP engineering activities comply with Aircraft Safety and Airworthiness standards.
• Coordinate on-time engineering support to the FAL and Delivery Center during manufacturing.
• Create, validate, approve, and authorize technical solutions for repairs, rework, or troubleshooting.
• Monitor design corrective actions and non-conformities to ensure quality.
