Job summary

PDS Defense, Inc. in Mobile, AL seeks an A220 Flight Line Mechanic to perform FTP, Pre & Post Flight inspections and prepare aircraft for test flight and delivery readiness. You will troubleshoot and repair aircraft systems using manuals, data and test equipment to ensure safety, quality and cost targets are met.

Adequate reading of diagrams and maintenance procedures is required. Required: 3 years aviation experience, valid A&P License and Driver License; willingness to rotate shifts and travel

Qualifications

• 3 years minimum aviation experience, preferably in an aviation manufacturing or repair environment
• Valid A&P License
• Valid Driver License
• Willingness to rotate shift schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Must possess or be able to obtain a valid passport which allows unrestricted travel to Canada
• High School Diploma / Vocational/Tech School Credential
• 3+ years experience in a flight-line environment under FAA/EASA/TCCA Regulations
• A&P Communication Skills (Spoken, Written, Influencing)

Responsibilities

• Perform aircraft system Final Test Procedure Test (FTP) / Pre /Post flight checklist / Daily Inspection (DI) to prepare built aircraft for test flight readiness
• Troubleshoot malfunctions, rigs, repairs, and component and system work across aircraft areas
• Read and interpret approved diagrams, charts, schematics and maintenance procedures (AMM/IPC/AWD/SB/CMM)
• Maintain documentation and support safety, quality and cost targets
• Support and train other aircraft technicians and coordinate with leads to manage schedules and parts availability
