Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. seeks a Flight Line Mechanic for our Mobile Manufacturing Team in Virginia.

You will perform FTP, pre/post flight inspections, and prepare built aircraft for test flight and delivery readiness, using approved data and various hand tools and equipment. You will troubleshoot, repair, and inspect aircraft systems, read diagrams and maintenance procedures, and support flight line operations across our A220/A320 production lines.

Qualifications

• 3 years minimum aviation experience, preferably in an aviation manufacturing or MRO environment.
• Valid Airframe and Powerplant License.

Responsibilities

• Perform FTP / Final Test Procedure and Pre/Post flight checks to prepare aircraft for test flights.
• Troubleshoot, repair and inspect aircraft systems using approved data and hand tools.
• Read and interpret maintenance diagrams, charts, schematics and procedures (FTP/WO/AMM/IPC/AWD/SB/CMM).
• Support flight line operations and contribute to process improvements and daily SQCDP activities.
