Job summary

Agua Caliente Casinos is seeking an AV Technician to install and maintain audio, video, lighting and media systems across casino and hotel properties. You will configure, troubleshoot, and service AV equipment, projectors, displays and control systems to support events and daily operations.

You’ll perform routine maintenance, track inventory, and stay current with AV technologies, while complying with regulations and company procedures.

Qualifications

Basic to intermediate knowledge of audio, video and control systems, including video conferencing platforms.
Proficiency in AV equipment setup, calibration and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols related to AV systems.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with all departments.
Must have excellent organizational skills, computer literate, and have excellent customer relation skills.
Flexibility to work outside regular business hours and travel to different locations as needed.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
Experience in working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Casino or hospitality services industry experience a plus.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and troubleshoot AV equipment, including audio, video, conferencing systems, projectors, displays, and control systems.
Perform daily maintenance and cleaning on all equipment in AV racks, AV rooms and permanently installed equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
Inventory and track equipment daily to prevent loss or damage of assets.
Stay up to date with emerging AV technologies, trends and industry best practices.
Follow all state, local, OSHA and MSDS regulations.
Demonstrate strategic thinking and respond to the AV needs of the property.
Provide daily project status updates to the AV Manager and escalate issues as needed.
Assist with programming AV content across properties, including sports programming and music.
Collaborate with external vendors and internal departments to ensure system and event efficiency.
Comply with Agua Caliente Casinos Internal Controls, SOPs and Tribal Regulations.
