AVIT Systems Inc. is seeking an experienced AV/VTC programmer to support, maintain, and upgrade complex audiovisual systems across conference rooms, video suites, and operation centers.

The role includes testing, commissioning, and developing punch lists, plus coordinating end-user training and maintenance schedules. The ideal candidate will have solid hands-on experience with Crestron, AMX, Extron, and Cisco, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and Security+ with TS eligibility; Secret clearance is

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field is required.
• Crestron Certified Programmer; minimum 101; 201 and 301 preferred.
• Extron Certified Programmer
• Biamp or ClearOne experience prioritized.
• Security+ and TS eligibility minimum; Secret with TS eligibility is expected.

Responsibilities

• Program AV/VTC equipment and components.
• Provide technical support, break/fix, and maintenance solutions for AV/VTC systems.
• Test and commission AV systems and prepare punch lists.
• Plan and conduct end-user training sessions.
• Coordinate maintenance and inspection schedules with staff technicians.
• Produce data/reports for supervisors as needed.

Ideal candidate will have extensive programming experience in supporting and maintaining equipment and systems for complex audiovisual and video teleconferencing solutions to meet government standards. Candidates should have extensive and varied experience in designing, installing, maintaining, repairing, replacing, and programming equipment and systems for conference rooms, video conferencing suites, operation centers, auditoriums, and other large scale venues.Equipment to be maintained will include (but may not be limited to): Crestron, AMX, Extron, Polycom, Cisco, Biamp, ClearOne, QSC, Shure, PlanarDuties include:• Programming of AV/VTC equipment and components• Provide technical support, break/fix response, and maintenance solutions for AV/VTC equipment and systems of varying complexity• Conduct testing and commissioning of AV systems that involve the preparation of punch list documents and follow up• Plan, coordinate, and initiate client/end user training sessions• Coordinate and conduct maintenance and inspection schedules with staff technicians• Producing required data and reports to supervisor as needed• Manage and coordinate varying tasks and timelines• Maintaining existing certifications and security clearance qualificationsDesired Education/Certifications• Bachelor's Degree in Relevant Field• Crestron Certified Programmer; minimum 101; 201 and 301 greatly preferred• Extron Certified Programmer• Biamp or ClearOne; candidates with demonstrated experience will be prioritized• Security+Security ClearanceMinimum Secret with TS eligibilityBenefits Summary• PTO – Annual accrual of up to 120 hours• Health (company covers 50%)• Dental (company covers 100%)• Vision (company covers 100%)• Life Insurance (One year salary up to 100K.
