Job summary

Hyundai Motor America is seeking a Master Certified Technician to diagnose and repair any system of the automobile. This role demands expertise without supervision and requires leadership in the shop to support new technicians.

The shop is family-owned and will open in mid-July 2026, boasting a continuous flow of work and a great benefits package. Experience with CDK and X-Time is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in automotive repair and diagnostics.
• Capable of diagnosing and repairing any system of the automobile without supervision.
• Must be a master certified technician with leadership qualities.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair automotive systems effectively.
• Support the development of other technicians when needed.
• Interface with customers in various capacities as required.

Job description

A bumper to bumper, master certified technician capable of diagnosing and repairing any system of theautomobile without supervision. In most cases, are leaders in the shop and chosen to support the developmentof other technicians when needed. At times, may be called upon to interface with customers in variouscapacities.

Hyundai Technical Training Equivalency Assessment Program

Hyundai welcomes experienced technicians from other OEMs. The program allows technicians with training from an industry-recognized source, other than Hyundai, to test out of certain Hyundai instructor-led technical training courses, provided they meet certain requirements.
