Hours: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM | Sunday through Thursday

Pay: $30 – $50 per hour, based on experience and fit

Adventure Tours, a rapidly expanding leader in the motorcoach industry, is seeking an experienced and driven A-Tech Diesel Mechanic to join our flagship operation in Washington, DC.

With five locations spanning from New York to North Carolina, we maintain a diverse fleet and a high standard of service. Our DC facility is fast-paced and well-equipped, offering an exciting environment for a seasoned technician who thrives on both technical challenges and leadership responsibilities.

Applicants will be required to pass a technical skills proficiency test as part of the hiring process.

What You’ll Do:

• Diagnose and repair advanced diesel systems, including aftertreatment (DEF/DPF/SCR), engine, transmission, electrical, HVAC, and suspension
• Use OEM diagnostic tools and software to accurately troubleshoot system issues
• Work on a modern fleet including Van Hool, MCI, Prevost, and Ford-based vehicles with Cummins, Detroit Diesel, and Allison systems
• Perform high-quality repairs that meet all DOT, manufacturer, and company standards

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience as an A-Level Diesel Technician in a commercial fleet setting
• Expertise in complex diagnostics across multiple vehicle systems
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Must have own tools
• CDL preferred, but not required
• Ability to work independently and pass a comprehensive skills assessment
