Job summary

Moog in Buffalo, NY is seeking an A&T Technician I (1st shift) for onsite work. You will perform assembly of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electro-mechanical systems, including soldering and crimping of wires on complex sub-assemblies.

You will read drawings and work with test procedures to ensure quality. Requirements include at least 1 year in a related technical field, a high school diploma or GED preferred, and compliance with the FAA Drug & Alcohol Program.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year related experience in a technical field.
• Ability to understand and apply verbal, written and computer work instructions in English.
• FAA Drug & Alcohol Program compliance is required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble hydraulic, pneumatic, and electro-mechanical components using instruments and tools.
• Perform high reliability soldering and crimping on wires for sub-assemblies.
• Work from drawings, worksheets, and parts lists.
• Diagnose rework on units not meeting test requirements and perform repairs.
• Prepare and test units on hydraulic stands and perform defined tests.
