Job summary

Moog Inc. in Buffalo, NY is seeking an A&T Technician I for onsite work in East Aurora, NY on a 3rd shift.

The role involves assembling and testing components using diverse mechanical and electronic measurement equipment, reading drawings, and following precise instructions to hit performance targets. The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or GED (or demonstrated ability to follow English instructions and perform basic math) and up to 1 year of related technical experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred; otherwise able to understand and follow English work instructions and perform basic math.
• 1 year of related technical field experience preferred.
• Ability to understand and apply verbal, written and computer work instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Use a variety of mechanical and electronic measurement equipment and fixtures to obtain build requirements.
• Work from drawings, work instructions, parts lists or other instruction and communicate performance results.
• Test operations include setup and operating tests on high precision test stands using hydraulic, pneumatic and electronic equipment to obtain desired results.
• Diagnose test failures and assess hardware to provide rework instructions and changes.
