Job summary

KidsCare Home Health in Dallas is seeking an intermediate-level A/R Collections Specialist to help our fast-paced billing team. The role focuses on accurate claims processing, denials management, and timely resubmissions for pediatric home health services.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of medical billing experience, proficiency in Excel and billing systems, and strong attention to detail. You’ll collaborate across departments to meet payer deadlines while delivering excellent customer service

Responsibilities

• Navigate systems to file timely reconsiderations and appeals.

• Review and resolve unpaid balances on assigned accounts.
• Conduct eligibility checks across insurance providers and notify relevant parties.
• Collaborate across departments to maintain compliance and deliver excellent customer service.

Overview

A/R Collections Specialist : Join our Fast-Paced, Problem-Solving Team!

We are seeking an intermediate-level A/R Specialist with a solid foundation and 1-2 years of hands-on experience in Medical Billing to join our Dallas based Billing team. In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring accurate claims processing, tackling denials, managing resubmissions, and driving successful collections for home health services across multiple payer sources. Every day will bring new puzzles to solve and fresh opportunities to make an impact. • Experience with medical billing denials, appeals, ERAs/EOBs

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct eligibility checks across various insurance providers, ensuring timely holds/discharges and notifying relevant parties.
• Collaborate across departments, maintain compliance, and deliver excellent customer service.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Two (2) years of medical billing experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Medical Billing Systems.
