Meadowview Behavioral Hospital in Peoria, IL is seeking an A&R Clinician to join our compassionate team. The role involves intake assessment, coordinating with physicians to determine patient disposition, and providing discharge planning support to ensure smooth transitions for patients.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

We are looking for motivated, dependable, and dedicated caregivers to provide exceptional direct care and support to our patients. The Registered Nurse assesses, coordinates, and evaluates patient care in collaboration with health team members, in accordance with the nursing process and standards of care and practice.

Your Experience Matters

• The A&R Clinician is responsible for assisting in the process of responding to referrals and other requests for services and information.


• The A&R Clinician assesses all ages and collaborates with a physician to determine a proper disposition.


• The A&R Clinician provides technical assistance to the discharge planning process, under the direction of the Director of A&R.


• The A& R Clinician is often the first contact with the community and therefore excels at providing resources, and support to callers and walk‑ins.


• The A&R Clinician provides general support to the case management program.

Experience: Preferably two or more years experience in intake assessment activities within an acute psychiatric setting. A minimum of two (2) years experience in a psychiatric hospital setting including customer contact.

Licensure:Licensed to practice in the State of Illinois as a mental health professional is preferred.

Additional Requirements:A working knowledge of the latest DSM and Mental Status Exam. A working knowledge of the Addiction and Recovery field.

Compensation

We are seeking Full-time and part-time A&R Clinicians to work all shifts. Compensation ranges from $26.00 to $32.00 per hour, depending on employment status, experience, qualifications, and skill level. Join us as our A&R Clinician!

Shift differentials will be paid for evening, overnight, and weekend shifts.
