Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace seeks an RS Service Team Supervisor A&P for weekend nights at the Savannah service center. You will assist the Service Team Manager in planning, coordinating and supervising aircraft maintenance projects to meet master schedules.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, a valid A&P license, and at least two years of aviation maintenance experience. Strong leadership, safety focus, and communication are essential for success.

Responsibilities

Ensure clear communication between leadership and team.
Provide counseling to maintain safety, compliance and appropriate behavior.
Conduct development discussions and support growth for team members.
Establish and cascade departmental goals aligned with organizational goals.
Coordinate with support departments to ensure materials and equipment are available.
Ensure work is performed in accordance with the Repair Station Manual, policies, procedures, FARs and regulatory mandates; perform safety audits.
Manage workflow to meet customer outdates and relay feedback to STM.
Assist in project estimates and communicate new labor estimates to STM.
Serve as STM backup for customer communications regarding work complete and discrepancies.
Act as main contact for hangar or weather-related emergencies and facility repairs.
Review daily job charging and control hours of technicians.
