Job summary

Gulfstream in Savannah, GA is seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Technician to keep fleets safe and reliable. The role focuses on maintenance, repair, and modification of key aircraft components.

You will perform troubleshooting, ensure FAA compliance, and document work orders; weekend shift with potential OT.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, 6 years aviation maintenance experience, and an A&P license, plus a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED is required.
6 years aviation maintenance experience (avionics, electrical, and/or mechanical).
A&P license (FAA) required.
Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

Perform required maintenance and servicing of all aircraft mechanical systems.
Repair, maintain, install, and troubleshoot mechanical and functional components of the aircraft including airframes, engine components, landing gear, electrical components, and control systems.
Coordinate with inspection to ensure FAA compliance and documentation requirements.
Properly complete work order sign-offs, shift turnovers, and other paperwork in a timely manner.
Ensure that all work accomplished meets quality standards and specifications.
Follow standard operating procedures when operating ground support equipment.
Coordinate with other departments to arrange for overhaul or repair of customer property as needed.
