Job summary

Bombardier is seeking an Airframe and Powerplant, Unscheduled Maintenance Technician (UMT) to join the Opa Locka Service Center. The role requires an A&P license, at least 3 years of aircraft maintenance experience, and strong troubleshooting skills.

You will perform maintenance, inspections, and return-to-service activities on customer aircraft with travel as needed. You must be able to work unscheduled overtime, interpret drawings, communicate effectively, and maintain tools and records.

Qualifications

Must have an Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license.
Minimum 3 years’ aircraft maintenance experience or equivalent.
Proficient in English, written and spoken.
Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and schematics.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Own basic set of hand tools and inventory/control of tools.
Willingness to travel and work unsupervised.
Valid driver’s license; passport required for international travel.
Possession of SIDA badge if applicable; corporate card holder experience.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, install, inspect and perform maintenance on customer aircraft.
Perform and document work per manuals and regulations.
Inspect incoming parts and documentation to meet regulatory requirements.
Assist with maintenance disciplines (Avionics, Structures, Composites etc.).
Operate ground support equipment as required; assist with removals/installation.
Return aircraft to service after maintenance at off-site locations.
Act as shipping/receiving agent for parts; provide time estimates.
Perform other duties as assigned.
