Job summary

Bombardier Dallas Service Center is seeking an Experienced Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Technician to troubleshoot, repair, install, inspect and maintain customer aircraft. You will document work per manuals, adhere to safety policies, and support multiple maintenance disciplines.

Applicants should have an A&P certificate with at least five years of experience, the ability to read drawings, and strong communication skills. A basic tool set and potential SIDA badge eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• AP certificate is required.
• Minimum 5 years of aircraft maintenance experience.
• Ability to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Own a basic set of hand tools and demonstrate tool inventory control.
• Ability to obtain Ground Support Equipment (GSE) qualifications as required.
• Willingness to work overtime, including non-scheduled days and holidays.
• Able to work in seasonal/inclement weather.
• Eligible for Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge.
• Experience on corporate jets is preferred.
• Basic PC skills required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, install, inspect and perform maintenance on customer aircraft.
• Perform and document work per manuals and regulations.
• Adhere to Bombardier General Work Requirements.
• Comply with EH&S policies and procedures.
• Participate in 5-S activities.
• Perform work in a safe and timely manner.
• Operate ground support equipment as required.
• Perform mechanical/electrical removals and installations.
• Assist with maintenance at off-site locations as needed.
• Assist other maintenance disciplines as needed.
• Assist with fuel and/or defuel of aircraft as needed.
• Assist with engine removal/installation as needed.
• Assist with aircraft component repair as needed.
