Job summary

W3Global seeks an experienced Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Technician to join our FAA Part 145 Repair Station team in Olathe, KS. You will perform inspections, repairs, and modifications, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations and manufacturer specifications while maintaining safe operations.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of general aviation maintenance experience,1+ year in Part 145, and solid troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate required.
• Minimum of three years of general aviation maintenance experience.
• Minimum of one year of experience in an FAA Part 145 Repair Station.
• Ability to meet minimum tool inventory requirements and operate Windows/iOS.

Responsibilities

• Perform aircraft inspections, maintenance, servicing, repairs and modifications per FAA regs and manufacturer requirements.
• Return aircraft to service safely within established timelines.
• Read and interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and technical documents to determine repair procedures.
• Inspect completed maintenance to ensure compliance and readiness for operation.
• Document all preventive and corrective maintenance activities per regulatory and company requirements.
• Conduct routine, scheduled, and special inspections as required by regulations.
• Inspect structures and components (landing gear, hydraulics, de-icing) for defects.
• Maintain, repair, and rebuild aircraft structures and systems (wings, fuselage, hydraulics, oxygen, fuel, electrical).
• Measure and adjust control cable tension per manufacturer specs.
• Repair or replace worn components using hand tools and testing equipment.
• Use precision instruments to evaluate component condition and wear.
• Participate in rotating weekend on-call; respond within 20 minutes.
• Travel as needed to provide AOG maintenance support.
