Job summary

HSGI, Inc. is seeking an A&P Technician to repair, troubleshoot, inspect, and maintain Customer aircraft. Duties include completing work orders, coordinating with departments, and ensuring compliance with FAA requirements.

The candidate must hold an FAA Airframe and Powerplant license, have strong corporate aircraft experience, hold a valid driver’s license, and be willing to work various shifts including overtime. A 10-year background check is required for security badge eligibility.

Qualifications

• Strong corporate aircraft experience.
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant license required.
• Willingness to work any shift including unscheduled overtime, non-scheduled work days, and holidays as needed.
• Must be able to pass a 10-year federal background check to obtain an airport security badge.

Responsibilities

• Under minimal supervision, performs inspections, maintenance, and repairs of moderate to advanced complexity on aircraft systems and structures.
• Communicate as required to receive and understand work assignments.
• Perform complex aircraft inspections, repairs, and modifications with minimal supervision.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure compliance with internal and FAA inspection and documentation requirements.
• Properly complete work order sign-offs and other paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
• Assist as needed with shift turnovers.
• Ensure that all work accomplished meets quality standards and specifications.
