Job summary

Total Aviation Staffing, LLC seeks skilled A&P Technicians for a maintenance operation at Garner Field Airport in Uvalde, TX. You will perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs on business jets, ensuring FAA compliance and airworthiness.

Current FAA A&P certificate required; 5 years in aircraft electrical or mechanical systems preferred. Competitive pay $28-$40/hour plus health and retirement benefits and relocation candidates considered.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current FAA A&P certificate.
• Experience performing business-jet maintenance preferred (Cessna Citation, Gulfstream, Learjet 45).
• Ability to read and apply aircraft maintenance manuals and engineering documents.
• Experience with maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, component replacement and repairs.
• Preference for 5 years of experience with aircraft electrical or mechanical systems.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform aircraft maintenance and repairs in compliance with FAA regulations and technical data.
• Inspect, adjust, and replace aircraft components to ensure optimal performance.
• Remove and reinstall obstructing components as required.
• Accurately document all maintenance activities per OEM manuals.
• Assist with aircraft fueling and defueling operations.
• Support avionics troubleshooting and maintenance activities.
• Repair flight-control and airframe components (flaps, ailerons, elevators, rudders, doors, leading edges).
• Work effectively with supervisors and maintenance team members.
