Job summary

D.O.M. magazine is seeking an Aircraft A&P Technician to join a 24/7 operation. You will perform heavy maintenance on regional jet airframes, inspect and repair aircraft, and document actions in the maintenance system.

Emphasis on safety, efficiency, and quality in a dynamic aerospace environment. Ideal candidates have an FAA A&P license, 3+ years in aircraft maintenance, and willingness to work 12‑hour shifts including days, nights, weekends.

Qualifications

  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) or Airframe (A) license required.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience as Aircraft Technician, preferred.
  • MRO experience is a plus.
  • CRJ airframe experience is a plus.
  • Military aircraft maintenance experience is a plus.
  • Possess basic set of tools.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Able to document maintenance actions electronically.
  • Able to obtain SIDA badge if applicable.

Responsibilities

  • Perform heavy maintenance (C-Checks) on regional jet airframes.
  • Comply with EHS policies and procedures.
  • Perform tasks safely and on time.
  • Inspect and repair aircraft per FAA and company standards.
  • Consult maintenance docs for troubleshooting and repairs.
  • General mechanical and electrical maintenance on aircraft structures and systems.
  • Perform troubleshooting, installations, removals, and inspections on aircraft.
  • Operate ground support equipment as required.

  • Perform heavy maintenance (C-Checks) on various regional jet airframes.
  • Comply with environmental health & safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform all assigned tasks in a safe and timely manner.
  • Inspect and repair aircraft according to strict safety guidelines set by the FAA or applicable regulatory body.
  • Consult maintenance blueprints, manuals, and other documents to assist with troubleshooting and repairs.
  • General mechanical and electrical maintenance and complex repairs on aircraft structures and systems.
  • Perform troubleshooting, installations, removals, and inspections on various aircraft.
  • Complete tasks within allotted time frames in accordance with FAA (or equivalent) and company standards.
  • Operate ground support equipment as required.

Heres what is required to succeed as a A&P Technician.

  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) or Airframe (A) License required.
  • Minimum of 3 years work experience as an Aircraft Technician (preferred)
  • MRO experience is a plus.
  • CRJ airframe experience is a plus.
  • Military aircraft maintenance experience (Depot/Isochronal/Phase inspections) is a plus.
  • Possess (basic) set of tools.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Comfortable working with technology / entering aircraft maintenance actions into a computer-based system.
  • Ability to effectively communicate aircraft maintenance actions both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to obtain a Security Identification Display Area badge (SIDA), if applicable.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be comfortable with shift work; we are a 24/7 operation with 12-hour shifts which include days, nights, and weekends.
