Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Quality Control Inspector for a 4th shift (weekend days) in Westfield, MA. You will perform inspections, verify FAA/CAA compliance, and ensure all records are accurate and complete.

The role emphasizes documentation quality and collaboration with the QA team to maintain airworthiness. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, A&P license, and 6 years of aviation maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; 6 years aviation maintenance experience (avionics, electrical, and/or mechanical). A&P license required.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; strong documentation skills.
• Proficient in maintenance documentation systems and FAA/CAA regulatory references.
• Capable of lifting 50 lbs and working at heights or in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Perform Quality Control inspections on aircraft/components.
• Complete inspections of repairs to FAA approved data.
• Coordinate mechanical, electrical and inspection requirements during maintenance.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed.
• Coordinate with RTS to ensure aircraft records are produced timely.
• Conduct audits of maintenance documentation for accuracy.
• Ensure aircraft/components are airworthy before flight.
• Mentor technicians on documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Communicate with management to identify work and delivery schedules.
• Provide technical support to inspection personnel regarding FAA/CAA requirements.
