Job summary

Textron Aviation in Birmingham, AL is seeking a full-time A&P Mobile Service Technician (First Shift). You will maintain and repair aircraft, diagnose mechanical issues, coordinate with crew and customers, and assist the lead mechanic to keep the service vehicle in top condition.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, A&P license, FAR Part 145 knowledge, and at least 3 years' experience with jet, turboprop, or piston aircraft. Cessna/Beechcraft/Hawker experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• A&P license required.
• Knowledge of FAR Part 145 procedures.

Responsibilities

• Aircraft Maintenance and Repair: diagnose, disassemble, repair, reassemble and adjust aircraft systems.
• Inspection and Documentation: ensure compliance with FAR 43 and maintain records.
• Parts Management: order and manage parts and return cores.
• Safety and Quality: follow QC procedures and maintain safe work environment.
• Team Collaboration: assist lead MST and other technicians to meet customer needs.
• Mobile Service Vehicle Maintenance: inspect and service vehicle, keep it road-ready.
