Job summary

Textron Aviation is hiring a full-time A&P mechanic/AMT to maintain and repair aircraft across model types, with emphasis on compliance with FAR 43 and Part 145. You will support the lead mechanic, coordinate with crew and customers, and help ensure safety and quality in mobile service and on-site work.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, an active A&P license, 3+ years of diversified aircraft maintenance experience, and experience on Cessna, Beechcraft, or Hawker aircraft.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED required.
• A&P license required.
• Knowledge of inspection procedures set forth in FAR Part 145 is required.
• A minimum of 3 years experience with diversified jet, turboprop, piston, modification, aircraft/flight maintenance.
• Experience on Cessna, Beechcraft, or Hawker aircraft is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair aircraft, diagnose mechanical issues and coordinate with crew and customers.
• Assist the lead mechanic, ensure customer satisfaction, and keep the service vehicle in top condition.
• Perform diagnostic and mechanical duties on various aircraft models and ensure timely workmanship.
• Check, correct, or replace complex aircraft assemblies and systems per FAR 43 documentation requirements.
• Order and obtain necessary parts for repairs and manage cores per procedures.
• Uphold safety, quality control, and team collaboration during maintenance tasks.
