Job summary

Johnson Service Group, Inc. seeks an A&P Mechanic to perform aircraft maintenance and repairs in accordance with FAA standards. Duties include component removal/replacement, troubleshooting, and ensuring airworthiness.

Applicants must hold FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate, a High School diploma or equivalent, and provide their own tools as listed by the company. English proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate is required.
• Must provide own tools as indicated on company tool list.
• Language: read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Perform removal and replacement of aircraft and powerplant components requiring bolting, torquing, adjusting, rigging, and safety wiring.
• Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, modify, and overhaul aircraft and aircraft systems to ensure airworthiness.
• Perform maintenance operations in accordance with FAA and customer quality standards.

Job Description: The A&P Mechanic is responsible to perform aircraft maintenance and/or repairs within estimated time in accordance with applicable FAA, and customer standards of quality.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Job Duties and Responsibilities of the A&P Mechanic are as follows:
• Other duties may be assigned.
• Perform such typical maintenance operations as the removal and replacement of aircraft and powerplant components that require bolting, torquing, adjusting, rigging, and safety wiring to include powerplant, and flight control removal/installation.
• Troubleshoot, repair, clean, service, inspect, modify, replace, and/or overhaul aircraft and aircraft systems using approved data to ensure airworthiness.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate.
• Must provide own tools as indicated on company tool list.
