Job summary

HSGI, Inc. is seeking an A&P Technician in the United States to perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs on customer aircraft with a focus on KingAir aircraft. The role requires FAA A&P licensure and the ability to work with Dash-8 or PT6 engine platforms, and to complete required documentation accurately.

Candidates must be willing to work any shift including overtime and holidays. The position emphasizes thorough communication, quality workmanship, and coordination with other departments

Qualifications

• Recent KingAir experience is a major plus
• Other airframe experience including Dash-8 or PT6 engines is a plus
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant License is required
• Valid Driver’s License required
• Willingness to work any shift including overtime and holidays

Responsibilities

• Under minimal supervision, performs inspections, maintenance, and repairs of moderate to advanced complexity on aircraft systems and structures
• Communicate as required to receive and understand work assignments
• Perform complex aircraft inspections, repairs, and modifications with minimal supervision
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure FAA compliance and proper documentation
• Complete work order sign-offs and related paperwork accurately and promptly
• Assist with shift turnovers as needed
• Ensure all work meets quality standards and specifications

• The A&P Technician repairs, troubleshoots, inspects and performs maintenance on Customer aircraft
• Performs and documents all work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Under minimal supervision, performs inspections, maintenance, and repairs of moderate to advanced complexity on aircraft systems and structures
• Communicate as required to receive and understand work assignments
• Perform complex aircraft inspections, repairs, and modifications with minimal supervision
• Coordinate with other departments as needed to ensure compliance with internal and FAA inspection and documentation requirements
• Properly complete work order sign-offs and other paperwork in a timely and accurate manner
• Assist as needed with shift turnovers
• Ensure that all work accomplished meets quality standards and specifications
