Job summary

Panasonic Avionics Corporation (PAC) seeks two A&P licensed mechanics (or soon to be licensed) to join our Chicago ORD team to maintain and service in-flight entertainment systems on commercial aircraft for global carriers. The role includes troubleshooting, testing, and replacing electronic assemblies while ensuring compliance with FAA/CAA/EASA/CASA regulations.

The position offers hourly rates of $34.55–$45.94, full medical/dental/vision, 401k, two weeks PTO, holidays, and tuition

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED is required.
• Airframe & Powerplant License or related certificate is required.
• Background and drug screening is required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must be open to most shifts (Night/graveyard included).
• 1+ year IFE/avionics experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in confined spaces.
• Read, comprehend and follow English instructions and procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, preventive maintenance, and alterations to PAC IFE systems on aircraft; troubleshoot and test assemblies; replace components.
• Document testing and repairs using barcode/data entry; receive/prepare parts; assist with spares inventory.
