You will shadow experienced technicians, document activities, and contribute to safety-focused maintenance in a dynamic defense/aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0–1 years of relevant experience.
• Active FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification with no prior FAA violations.
• Must pass written, oral and practical assessments.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work locations.
• Familiarity with schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals, and publications.
• Must have own tools in good working order.
• Pass and maintain Class 3 Physical requirements, including a hearing test.

Responsibilities

• Assist in performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks.
• Shadow experienced mechanics during inspections and repairs.
• Document maintenance activities under supervision.
• Conduct routine checks on aircraft components.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Adhere to safety regulations and procedures.
• Participate in training and development programs.
