Job summary

A leading company in the aviation sector is looking for a temporary aviation maintenance technician with extensive experience, particularly on helicopters. This role requires an FAA A&P license or the ability to qualify for a Repairman Certificate. Candidates will perform inspections, troubleshooting, and participate in flight tests while ensuring operational integrity of aircraft components.

Qualifications

  • Experience specifically on helicopters is preferred.

Job Description

Your challenges:

  1. Perform detailed inspections, assembly, installation, repair, replacement, adjustment, and alignment of parts and components.
  2. Conduct operational checks of complete systems to verify proper functioning of components and systems.
  3. Perform troubleshooting to diagnose malfunctions or failures on aircraft systems including equipment furnishings, fire protection, fuel system, hydraulics, landing gear, doors, fuselage, stabilizer, rotor systems, power plant, and engine controls.
  4. Participate in flight tests on aircraft and log work to be performed. Interface with customers for delivery, and prepare for delivery inspections and address any issues identified by customers.
Additional Information

This position is a temporary (contract) position with no specific time period but could be extended or shortened as needed.

Qualifications
  1. Minimum of six (6) years of aviation maintenance experience, with some experience specifically on helicopters.
  2. Current FAA A&P license OR the ability to qualify for a Repairman Certificate (requires 18 months of maintenance experience on Airbus manufactured helicopters).
  3. Experience with Safran Turbomeca engines is preferred but not mandatory.
  4. General knowledge of standard practices and troubleshooting methods.
  5. US Person under ITAR definition required (e.g., U.S. Citizen, green card holder, or person covered under our existing ITAR license).
