Job summary

Rio Staffing seeks a skilled A&P Aircraft Mechanic to join our client's general aviation piston fleet in Phoenix, AZ. The role includes performing routine inspections, diagnostic repairs, component servicing, and airworthiness logbook sign-offs in a collaborative hangar environment with 10-hour shift options.

Qualifications

Active FAA A&P license required at time of hire.
Minimum of 3 consecutive years of post-graduation GA maintenance experience as a certificated A&P.
Direct hands-on maintenance experience with single-engine GA piston aircraft.
Personal set of hand tools for GA servicing.
Proficient with MS Office and Talon RMS.
Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied environments.

Responsibilities

Perform 100-hour inspections, annuals, routine servicing, and repairs per 14 CFR Parts 43 and 91.
Diagnose and repair malfunctions on piston airframes, engines, and mechanical systems.
Complete maintenance logbooks and digital records using MS Office and Talon RMS.
Read and interpret maintenance manuals, parts catalogs, and ADs/SBs.
Maintain safe hangar conditions and proper handling of fuels and solvents.
