Job summary

Aero-Flite is seeking a qualified Maintenance - Mechanic to perform hands-on aircraft maintenance in Spokane, WA. The role requires an A&P license, strong mechanical skills, and the ability to work with and interpret manuals to keep Aero-Flite aircraft airworthy.

Responsibilities include field support, inspections, repair logging, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Candidates should have experience with aircraft structures, avionics, and related systems in a production environment.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent graduate.
• FAA issued Airframe and Powerplant license.
• Electrical/technical/mechanical experience or aptitude is required.

Responsibilities

• Field assignments to support customer requirements and provide mechanical support to flight operations.
• Read and interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and other specifications to determine the repair method for malfunctioning components.
• Inspect completed work to certify that maintenance meets standard and aircraft is ready for operation.
• Maintain repair logs, documenting preventive and corrective aircraft maintenance.
• Conduct routine and special inspections as required by regulations.
• Examine and inspect aircraft components, including landing gear and hydraulic systems, for defects.
• Maintain, repair, and rebuild aircraft structures and systems including engines, fuel, and electrical systems.
