Skyborne, an industry-leading aviation training academy, seeks an A&P Mechanic in Vero Beach, Florida to maintain and repair aircraft systems, ensuring safety and reliability in a dynamic, team‑oriented environment.

You will perform inspections (including 100‑hour checks), troubleshoot mechanical and electronic systems, follow FAA and Skyborne procedures, read technical manuals, and collaborate with supervisors and other mechanics.

Qualifications

• Must be flexible to working weekends.
• Minimum of two (2) years’ General Aviation experience with 100-hour, annual inspections, sheet metal repairs, troubleshooting systems and replacement of parts experience.
• High school degree/GED and/or some College degree from a two (2) year college or technical school preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience; equivalency years’ experience must be in a related field.
• Contingent to employment, all candidates must pass a drug screening and background check, TSA badge if required.
• Airframe and Power plant license (required).
• Read and understand technical manuals (required).
• Excellent organizational skills and professional attitude.
• General knowledge of Microsoft Office and related software.
