Job summary

Republic Airways is seeking an A&P Mechanic for the LIFT Academy to perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and modifications on aircraft and related equipment. You will troubleshoot systems, execute work orders, and verify tooling calibration and part serviceability.

The role requires an FAA A&P license and a high school diploma or equivalent, with prior airline experience preferred. Hybrid or onsite training is provided at the LIFT Academy hangar.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with an FAA Airframe and Powerplant license.
• Experiences using a computer to look up information and input data.
• Able to work both in a team setting and individually.
• Preferred: prior A&P mechanic or airline experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance, repair, modifications and other maintenance of aircraft, components and related equipment to standards.
• Troubleshoots aircraft systems and executes maintenance work orders.
• Uses tools, equipment and test apparatus to ensure work aligns with industry practices.
• Maintains calibration of tooling and ensures parts are serviceable before installation.
