Job summary

Textron Aviation seeks a licensed A&P Mechanic on the 2nd shift at the Indianapolis Service Center, performing repairs, maintenance, overhaul and troubleshooting on our aircraft fleet. The role requires strong knowledge of jet airframe and engine systems, and the ability to read blueprints and engineering specifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• A&P license required; or DD214 with eligibility for company-sponsored certification.
• Requires ability to read blueprints and engineering specs; knowledge of jet airframe and engine principles.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in jet/turboprop maintenance; 5 years preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an Airport Security Badge.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, disassemble, repair, and reassemble aircraft systems to prepare for flight and delivery.
• Troubleshoot turbine engines, perform inspections and engine run-ups.
• Install service bulletins and kits on airframes and engines.
• Tow/move aircraft and assist in cleaning parts during repairs.
• Follow FAR 43 procedures and safety requirements.
