Job summary

Textron Aviation is seeking a licensed A&P Mechanic for the Indianapolis Service Center on the 2nd shift. You will perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on Textron aircraft, ensuring airworthiness for flight and delivery.

The role requires at least 2 years in jet/turboprop maintenance, with an A&P license or eligible through military qualifications. A pre-tax sign-on bonus up to $15,000 is available based on experience.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent required.
• A&P License is required.
• In lieu of A&P license must have DD214 form to be reviewed for company-sponsored certification.
• Requires knowledge of jet airframe and engine principles and reading blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Performs licensed A&P work and maintenance on Textron Aviation aircraft to prepare for flight and delivery.
• Troubleshoots turbine engines and conducts run-ups.
• Conducts airframe system changes and system checks.
• Installs service bulletins and kits on airframes and engines.
• Follows FAR 43 inspection procedures and uses precision hand tools.
